Asbestos Knowledge for Tradesmen Course
To provide a good understanding of asbestos, for those whose could encounter asbestos in their work environment. This course is accredited by the Royal Society of Public Health (RSPH).
Who should do it?
A specialist course designed for individuals who will come into contact with asbestos as part of their daily work activity.
The list is not exhaustive but provides a guide to the trades that this course would benefit. Trades include general maintenance staff; gas fitters; plasterers; roofers; fire & burglar alarm installers; shop fitters; electricians; painters and decorators; heating & ventilation engineers; computer installers; plumbers; joiners; construction workers; telecoms engineers and building surveyors.
In order to show the individual has achieved the required level of understanding candidates are required to sit a multiple choice test. The overall pass mark necessary is 80%.
